LITTLE ROCK – Mayor Frank Scott Jr. delivered the 2025 State of the City address on February 27 at the Dr. Marian G. Lacey K-8 Academy, focusing on the city’s commitment to public safety, housing, and essential services under the theme “Back to the Basics.”
Scott emphasized efforts to reduce crime, improve housing affordability, and enhance waste management and public utilities to improve residents’ quality of life. He reiterated the city’s dedication to strengthening foundational services while continuing progress toward long-term development.
